In these Terms and Conditions ?we, our, us, www.shortlead.com.au? refers to shortlead.com.au pty ltd and ?you? and ?yours? means all persons using this web portal.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing the content of www.shortlead.com.au (?the web portal?) you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our privacy policy available at http://www.shortlead.com.au/ - privacy policy located at the bottom of the home page.
If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the services on the web portal and leave immediately.
You agree that you shall not use the web portal for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the web portal. You also agree not to compromise the security of the web portal or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.
You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
3 HOUR TENTATIVE FUNCTION ENQUIRY
When sending a tentative function enquiry to a venue, a shortlead.com.au representative will contact you directly regarding your request within 3 hours. This is based upon Monday to Friday (9.00am ? 5.00pm) and excludes public holidays. If you have sent the enquiry on a Friday afternoon at 3.00pm, a shortlead.com.au representative will have a response back to you by approximately 10.00am on Monday morning.
If the venue shows availability for a particular date ? that does not mean that the booking will be automatically accepted. The venue has total discretion as to what meetings, events and functions that they accept.
MODIFICATION
Shortlead.com.au reserves the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the web portal will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
Shortlead.com.au have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Shortlead.com.au will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the web portal.
Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of shortlead.com.au, its employees or agents.
COPYRIGHT
All intellectual property of shortlead.com.au such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the web portal remain the property of shortlead.com.au.
By using the web portal you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of shortlead.com.au and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the web portal.
All text, images and logos that appear under individual venue listings, are the responsibilty of that venue. Shortlead.com.au will not accept copyright negligence in any way on either text, image or logo misuse. Shortlead.com.au allows its venues to update its own web page displayed on shortlead.com.au, in doing so our administration department does random checks on information but cannot guarantee accuracy and correct use of all information and images.
DISCLAIMERS
The information is provided on the understanding that the web portal is not engaged in rendering advice and should not be wholly relied upon when making any related decision.
The information contained with the web portal is provided on an ?as is? basis with no warranties expressed or otherwise implied relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the web portal.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the www.shortlead.com.au website and cannot provide any representation that using the web portal will be error free.

SEVERANCE
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of Australia and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of Australian courts.

CANCELLATION OF A VENUE LISTING
Your authorised hotel/venue representative's signature on the Shortlead.com.au Venue Registration Form constitutes a binding perpetual agreement to abide by the listing conditions and commission structure outlined by shortlead.com.au.
This agreement will remain in place until cancelled by an authorised hotel/venue representative by emailing admin@shortlead.com.au. Your cancellation will not be finalised until a Shortlead representative has acknowledged the cancellation via a return email. Please note that this is the sole method Shortlead.com.au Pty Ltd will accept for the cancellation of a Venue Listing.
